This is a picture of EarlHarpa 30. As you can see, the strings do not touch the peghead at all, which means there is no friction point between the winder and the nut. This is a typical peghead configuration for Earl's Sahlström-style insruments. Most of Earl's Sahlström-style nyckelharpas have an ebony strip on the nut; this one has a strip of bone instead of the ebony. |
